Table Top Glass

A basic solid surface area that has a flat top used for storage or utility. This style table can have a custom cut glass top put on the top to cover the whole area and still resemble the same shape as table. Standard glass thickness for this style is 1/4" clear plate. Glass can be added to any table of this style. Including  Dressers, Night Stands, End Tables, Etc. 

These types of tables use the glass as structural support for the table. The glass is usually big, thick and heavy and which these attributes are used to keep the glass in place on the table base. These types of glass tops typically over hand about 1 foot from table base.

 Typical thickness for this application would be 3/16". A beveled edge can be added to use a thicker glass such as 1/4. The bevel makes the edge 1/16" thinner and possible to fit in the insert groove.
